Hi Mark...thanks for stopping by this morning it was very nice to 'meet' you! What a wonderful blog you have and I LOVE your living room and your eclectic mix of 'goodies'. I had a few moments to look around at some of your other posts...loved them! Good luck finding your cushions....I still have stuff in boxes in one of our buildings on the farm that have been there since we moved to the country 2 1/2 years ago! I hope your day is a good one. Maura :)
I love your style. I think your art is very creative. I also struggle to get my rooms exactly how I want them and I get obsessed about them until I get it right. I am glad your room is how you want it.......for now.
I am so glad you stopped by... I am loving your way of unique style all your own... I am anxious to keep searching through your blog... What is the store you get to sell and design in????? I always have to remember in my design to achieve the look I want not to make it seem so perfect.... Also when I create and work on altered art... i was always trying for perfecton and that was not what I wanted it to be... Through the years I love things that are not so perfect and show age and stress... Looking forward to viewing more of your posts... Thanks again for stopping by and becoming a follower.....
Hello Mark! As usual everything you create is perfect ... the living room is wonderful in every detail, you croiu a cozy and very charming ... Delightful decor....Mark...Thanks for the kind visit to the " Grand Lady " ... Love the mellow feeling of your living room. It shares both the feminine and masculine aura... which is so fabulous .. and I especially appreciate the use of nature( deer) and vintage items ( bells)...I'm currently redecorating an old Victorian , so will be sure to visit your wonderful eclectic blog again... I'm your newest follower... Bright Blessings
thanks for following me kind sir ;) I super LOVE your living room! You should be proud of it! One thing though....where are the BOOKS??? I decorate a lot with old books...your living room as the feel of a cozy library. ;)
Thank you for following my blog, Mark. I appreciate that. I really enjoyed looking through your blog and was impressed with the unique style and amazing items you display in your home and store. I am now following you as well and wish you continued success in your Illinois business. I live in south-central Canada so unable to just drop by the store but will enjoy it online. Hugs, Gayle.
Very warm and comfy room--not usually a fan of taxidermy, but how you present it fits perfectly. I am assuming you didn't hunt the things yourself. The floor lamp you have in the photo--I have 2 of them myself. I bought one at a sale about 20 years ago for 50 cents and recently I found another one for not much more in price. I use them together in my guest bedroom beside the bed. By the way, I like Sweet Old Vintage's idea about the grain sacks for pillows. I had a whole stack of them once and then sold them! Still kicking myself. I don't sell much of my stuff, just get more. Sigh.
Great Style Mark, I think the pillows on the couch would be perfect for spring time, but maybe mix them up a bit, maybe a few darker ones... not sure what the original ones look like, but can't wait to see when you find them ~ Deer Heads, Rug, Silver~ I Love it All! Have a wonderful weekend Cheryl
